Position: Intern / Junior 2D Artist

We are seeking a creative and talented Intern / Junior 2D Artist to join our team. If you have a passion for game art, a strong eye for detail, and the drive to create visually stunning assets, we would love to hear from you.

As a 2D Artist, you will collaborate closely with developers and designers to bring game worlds, characters, and concepts to life through compelling visuals.

Key Responsibilities
● Collaborate with Developers and Game Designers to create high-quality 2D art assets for games.
● Create in-game artwork including placeholders, character designs, backgrounds, and props.
● Produce visually engaging illustrations for in-game content and marketing materials.
● Ensure all visual assets align with the overall artistic direction and style of the game.
● Provide quick sketches and visualizations based on written briefs or brainstorming sessions.
● Communicate visual ideas clearly and solve design challenges with creative solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
● Strong sketching and visualization skills with the ability to quickly translate ideas into visuals.
● Background in illustration with flexibility to work across multiple art styles, from photo-realistic to highly stylized.
● Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and familiarity with other concept art tools.
● Solid understanding of color theory, lighting, composition, anatomy, and visual aesthetics.
● Experience designing characters, props, and environments for games.
● Excellent visual communication skills and the ability to identify and resolve design challenges.
● Passion for gaming, virtual worlds, and digital experiences.
● A strong 2D concept art portfolio showcasing a range of styles and creative projects.
